A very nice six-row concentric millefiori with a central bird silhouette cane.

The black and white silhouette cane contrasts well with the pale pinks, white, greens and blues of the concentric rings.

This weight was illustrated (in monochrome) on page 177 of Paul Jokelson's 1955 book, "Antique French Paperweights", where it refers to the weight having an "SL" signature. Unfortunately, the signature cane is not visible in this current photo - but at least we can see the colours here!
