This weight is a one-off piece and is titled "Boule Rouge".

It is basically a honeycomb (or perhaps a loose carpet ground) pattern. But what sets it apart from the normal weights of that design is the very striking use of red-flashed white cog canes. There are two main sizes of cog canes skillfully placed to maintain an even visual appearance.

A standard, blue-ringed date cane is set in the side of the weight (lower right of the photo) but this does not detract from the appeal of the item.
