"The Zodiac" - Colin Terris designed this weight in 1983.

Collectors may well be aware of many other "Zodiac" weights, using silhouettes within millefiori set upon twists of latticinio. However, in this example, that apparently common theme is enhanced by enclosing the whole in a sphere of spiralling pink and white threads. The completed weight is finished off by side and top faceting.

At the centre of the design is a standard blue and white "Whitefriars" date and signature cane group.
