Are the frog and snail good friends, or is it lunchtime?

Made in 1979 this weight shows the quality of Peter Holmes' lampwork. A dark-spotted green frog and a delicate pink snail with green and black spiralled shell face each other on a mottled stony ground.

The maker's signature cane is clearly seen in the lower part of the photo.
